Bringing Your Voice to City Hall

I made Baldwin Park my home over 30 years ago. I immediately felt the spirit of family, community and potential that it offers. Inspired by this, I began my Public Service journey as Commissioner for Recreation and Community Services and eventually Planning Commission. I served as your Councilmember, holding the distinction of being the first Latina elected to our City Council, and more recently as City Clerk. I come to you with strong experience, knowledge and an unselfish desire to serve our community.

As your elected Councilmember, I promise to work hard and collaborate with staff and leaders to ensure that:

City Hall is open, available, transparent, and fiscally responsible to our citizens.

Public Safety is paramount, and we experience crime and graffiti reductions.

We increase affordable housing for seniors and low-income residents.

Economic Development thrives with the attraction of businesses that benefit our city.

Quality Recreation and Community Services programs are provided to seniors, families, and children.

Having raised my children in Baldwin Park, and now blessed to help raise my granddaughter, I am vested and committed to the success and wellbeing of Baldwin Park. Public Service continues to be a big part of who I am, and my record shows that I deliver services that improve the quality of life for Baldwin Park families.
